Littlesteps specialises in the creation of UK-based non-nature carbon reduction schemes which create Verra-approved Verified Emission Reductions (VERs) with added social benefits. You can use these VERS to complement the other work you are doing to reduce your carbon emissions.

Being able to design and realise schemes which generate quality VERs from UK-based activity is revolutionary. These schemes are delivered by people with many years of experience in exactly this type of work, which has proven to change hearts and minds about making small changes to bring about significant transformation.
We do this by designing products which bring about small but meaningful, positive change in homes across the United Kingdom1. If we can help a household make behavioural changes and ensure these changes are recognised and verified, we create high quality carbon emission reduction credits – which are independently recognised as doing exactly what we said they would.
From the free products we send into homes our schemes also generate a great deal of meaningful, real social benefits. Littlesteps was launched in the eye of a cost of living and energy price rise storm. Fuel poverty is as real for many people as it ever was and any energy savings make a real difference to many peoples’ cost of living.
Once our free water widget is installed it saves over £300 per year in water and energy bills. For many, this provides the opportunity to start a longer conversation on what a household can do to make other changes and to take advantage of support and help to ensure people are warm and comfortable in their homes. We call it ‘feeling warm inside’.
