Enhance your brand and engage with stakeholders

There are branding options available within this activity

For the most part, the Littlesteps brand is used to promote the product using sophisticated datasets built and refined over many years. The activity doesn’t require the support or involvement of our client’s brand where the client just wants to benefit from the Verified Emissions Reductions.

Get more involved

Get involved

However, many clients wish to consider getting involved either to enhance their brand or to engage with stakeholders or often both.

This means that the marketing machine can be pointed at particular groups of people:

  • Employees
  • Residents
  • Customers

  • Members

For example, a supermarket may wish to have loyalty customers apply at the till for the product which will be posted to their homes free of charge or can be collected in-store.

A council may send direct mail to its residents, saying a water widget can be applied for free of charge, whilst also asking their own employees to also apply for the product.

The supermarket and council can fund the creation of Verified Emissions Reductions and put these against their annual requirement to move closer to their net zero objectives without any further cost beyond the agreed price for the Verified Emissions Reductions.

The Student Energy Group

In the case shown here, The Student Energy Group are promoting the free water widget to their Gen Z audience to enhance their brand credentials in student accommodation.

Littlesteps provides all the devices at no charge to the student. The resulting Verified Emission Reductions are sold by Littlesteps to a large client who is buying credits which have been generated from a range of schemes like this but, in this example, has no particular interest in being associated with the scheme.

Rewired Earth

Rewired Earth

Enabling an individual’s priorities

Littlesteps is working with Rewired Earth, a not-for-profit, that addresses the disconnect between what people want to happen in society and what is getting done. Rewired Earth enables an individual’s priorities, your priorities, to reach those within finance, business and Government who are making key decisions. And on the supply side, having identified what stakeholders want, it gives a directed focus to those investments: Governments, banks and companies can direct investment to what people want to see happening. People’s values can, not only be really valued, but actually realised.

How are people’s priorities being harnessed? Through the largest-ever survey on sustainability, going out to over one billion people over the next 12 months. We’ve created a customised version with Rewired Earth. You can complete the survey by clicking here. By completing the survey you are not only telling businesses and Governments where to focus their attention, but as one of the first thousand people who complete the survey, you can choose to receive a free water widget too. Save water, heat and money as you vote to save the planet.

As companies and investors look at their activities, including their supply chains and current investments, they are looking to reduce associated carbon emissions.

Less water use means reduced energy to pump the water around pipes outside as well as in homes and buildings – and also saves resources by reducing the amount of grey (used) water treated and disposed of at water and sewage treatment plants. And there are the social benefits of freed-up money from reduced hot water bills.

Rewired Earth asks people to choose which of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals they see as critical.

Water widgets contribute to addressing climate action, affordable and clean energy, life under water, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, industry, innovation and infrastructure, no poverty, clean water, good health and well-being.

Rewired Earth is a Community Interest Company supported by some big players: www.rewired.earth. Get in touch on their website and find out how they’re going to turn the financial markets into the most protective force on the planet.

Water widget

Did you know, in a normal shower, 50% of each droplet of water is wasted? Using normal showers, you’re not as wet as you think you are.

Social impact

Many of the schemes we run, which deliver Verified Emission Reductions, also deliver considerable ‘social value’.

Collaborations

The activity we run can be done in collaboration with brands/groups who wish to deliver money and energy savings to stakeholders.
